Adirondack Daily Enterprise features ACTLS

1/20/2015

Shaun Kittle did a nice job in the January 18/19 weekend edition of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise of describing what we hope to do in the coming year. We do want to assure people, we won't be advocating for lodges as pictured on Forest Preserve. We do hope to identify strategic locations for lodging throughout the Park and then see how opportunities may arise on private land for building the type of lodges as pictured in the article.
Thanks Shaun!

It shouldn't be surprising but walking is good for your health in more ways than one. According to a recent study, "Group nature walks are linked with significantly lower depression, less perceived stress and enhanced mental health and well-being according to the study conducted by the University of Michigan, with partners from De Montfort University, James Hutton Institute, and Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom. The findings appear in a special issue of Ecopsychologydevoted to 'Ecopsychology and Public Health'."
